It is worth mentioning that after the unremitting efforts of both hospitals and the medical staff at the Center, TCM was legalized in the Czech Republic, signed into law by Czech President Milos Zeman in June 2017. Dr. Guan told the reporter, “For the first time ever, the social status of TCM practitioners has been legally recognized, though the implementation requires further and more detailed legal provisions. But this is already a major breakthrough in the Czech Republic over the last decade. After the Czech government reshuffled, the attitude towards TCM was affected to some extent.
